Airdrop Crypto
Tokens distributed to wallets for free, often to promote a new project. Depending on why you received them, they may be taxable income.
Altcoin Crypto

Average cost method Tax

Bear market Investing
A prolonged fall in prices, commonly defined as 20% or more from a recent high.
Benchmark Investing
An index or fund used to judge a portfolio's performance, such as SPY for US large-cap stocks.

Exchange Crypto
A platform for buying, selling and trading crypto, such as a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Kraken) or a DEX.

Proof of work Crypto
A way of securing a blockchain where miners compete to solve computational puzzles. Used by Bitcoin.
